AVA is the first global music awards platform created by and for Iranian artists and music professionals around the world. It recognizes exceptional work through a professional, transparent and peer-based process — with artists and music professionals themselves at the heart of the vote.
It is not a talent show. Not a popularity contest. Not a competition shaped by algorithms or followers. It is an awards platform built around the work — and the people who make it.
AVA started with an idea.
What would happen if the people making music across Iran and around the world could finally see the extraordinary scale of their own community?
AVA grew from that idea. A platform open across genres and geography, without censorship or borders — where an artist can be heard, nominated or even win a Crystal for the work itself, and where recognition comes from peers who understand what it takes to create it.

EXPLORE THE FAQ →The AVA Music Awards recognize the artistic achievements of Iranian artists and music professionals around the world. AVA celebrates music across genres, languages and traditions, bringing recognition to the people who contribute to the wider music community and industry.
Who AVA is for →No. AVA recognizes the work of Iranian artists and music professionals, not just a particular style of music. Your work may be in any language and belong to any musical genre, provided it meets the eligibility requirements of the relevant award category.
Eligibility →For AVA 1st–2027, a work must have been publicly released between 1 June 2026 and 31 May 2027, inclusive. Submitted works must also meet the minimum production standards of the industry and applicable category requirements. The official submission window is from 1 April to 31 May 2027.
Eligibility & Rules →Artists or their authorized representatives register the artist and submit eligible works through the official AVA platform during the submission window. Each submission must include the required information and meet the applicable requirements. Submissions are screened for minimum production quality and correct Primary Category placement before proceeding through the Awards process. The member would get notified once a submission is approved.
Submit a Work →There is no jury or committee. Instead all AVA Academy Members choose the nominees and winners through a peer-voting process, in which artists and music professionals evaluate and recognize the work of their peers. Before voting, submissions undergo an initial screening to ensure they meet the minimum quality standard for a serious music production and are placed in the appropriate Primary Category.
How AVA Works →No. AVA's Awards process is based on submission screening, Academy evaluation and voting—not simply on public popularity or online following. AVA is founded on professional values and artistic achievements, evaluated and voted by the members themselves. Popularity or the size of the social accounts don't represent AVA values.
How AVA Works →AVA Academy Membership is intended for active members of the Iranian music community who have demonstrated their professional involvement in music. Applicants should have contributed to the production of works that have been publicly released and have a record of performances or professional presentations that meet AVA's standards. Membership both as “Community Member” and “Academy Member” is granted following review and approval by AVA.
The Academy →Yes. A work may be submitted to one Primary Category and to multiple eligible Additional Consideration Categories.
Categories →No. AVA is an international awards platform for Iranian artists and music professionals worldwide. Eligible participants may live and work in Iran or anywhere else in the world, subject to the applicable award-cycle requirements.
AVA / About →The ultimate recognition is the “AVA Crystal”—a symbol of extraordinary professional achievement, awarded in recognition of an artist's work by their peers across the Iranian music community. Winning an AVA Crystal is more than receiving an award. It is a mark of professional excellence and peer recognition that stays with you for life. Once you receive it, you are an AVA Crystal Winner—a distinction you carry throughout your career and beyond.

AVA is an invitation-based community, built by artists and music professionals. Most members join through an invitation from a current AVA Academy Member. A limited number of direct Academy Memberships are also available.
